Criterium #2
It was another chilly day
in Kenosha but with spring comes more bike racing and we had lots of great
action today! The highlight of today's action was Velo Trocadero's total
control of the Pro 1/2 race. Today's race was visibly quicker than
lastweek's with much more aggression and lots of counter moves. None of the
early breaks were able to get much distance until Velo Trocadero sent Tim
Pacholski off by himself and used their three other riders to control the
reaction.

A second Trocadero rider was sent off in pursuit
for a 1-2 finish, but he wasn't able to make contact with Pacholski and was
eventually reeled back in.

With one lap to go Velo Trocadero was on the point
pushing the pace ...

...
but in the field sprint it was Chaz Martin taking it for second place
(he
also won the Junior race in the morning).

And KING of the day was Tim Pacholski of Velo
Trocadero!

Well
done!

Peloton
StarSeason Opener!
Good turnout with good weather on the first race of the year. I'll
have all of today's pix posted by Monday evening (probably earlier).

I got to test out a new (to me) camera which should give us
sharper images that we got last season. In addition, I've got some more
surprises to share as well, so check back for that!
So, the computer is cranking on todays pix right now, look
for them on Monday.
